The giant, the eagle, the monkey, and me,
Each holds a lock; I hold the key,
They rage and they scream and plead to go free,
The giant, the eagle, the monkey, and me.

The giant is trapped, imprisoned, enslaved.
It toils to make up what its forefathers gave.
An eternity passes and it still works the soil,
Its muscles built up with sweat, blood, and oil.
It longs fo the light, but to the dark it is chained.
How long can a giant live with such pain?

Far past the clouds, in its perch Eagle lies.
Dreaming of days when birds could still fly.
Its claws are now dull, its feathers graying,
It dreams of long-ago battles, the shrieks and the slaying.
But its glory is dead, its wings clipped and worn,
Its dreams gone in smoke, its heart broken and torn.
How can one comfort a soul so forlorn?

And the monkey? It cries, in the dead of the night.
It wrings wooden hands as it laments its plight.
The bars of its cage are not metal, silver, or steel,
But made of fear, sorrow, hate, and the guilt we all feel.
It rattles its bars, it shrieks and it shouts,
But no one will look, much less let it out.
Who has the courage to quiet its shouts?

The giant, enslaved;the eagle twisted and dying;
The monkey trapped behind bars, its whole life spent crying,
How can we possibly save them? says I, sighing.

Each with its own lock, each in a cage,
And each with its own hopes and fears to assuage,
They beg me for mercy, for freedom, for peace,
And their plea is granted, I give them release.
The giant must learn to control others' rage. The bird must look forward, away form its age.
And the monkey? It must learn to fight,
Escape from its cage and run into the light.
Because I'd like to know...

Dude just yes. Awesome. This. This I don't have words.
One little thing I noticed though is on monkey's stanza you used the word 'shouts' to end two different lines.
